With their tenth album at the turn
of the third millennium, KILLERS really show what they are,
in a more energetic style than ever before!
After the album “109” that was performed
by a new line-up, “Mauvaises Graines” goes back
to the kind of speed metal that this Basque band always promoted. Bruno DOLHEGUY (vocals & guitar) is
still accompanied by Nicko ANDRIEU (drums),
Thierry ANDRIEU (guitar) and Patrick OLIVIER (bass guitar). In this new album that includes a 20-page
booklet whose graphic illustrations are truly a success
(no doubt the most beautiful cover of a KILLERS album, ever since they’ve
          started issuing records),
the band goes back to a more homogeneous and compact style that doesn’t
let the listener time to breathe. The production of “Mauvaises Graines” is comparable to its packaging: superb, refined to the extreme,
and perfectly highlighting the angry and vigorous style of those musicians. After participating to the 10th Wacken
in 1999, KILLERS proves once more (as if they needed to)
that “French” metal is at the same level as that of its European neighbours. As it’s now his custom, Bruno offers
strong and very well composed lyrics, as bloody and accusing as ever. After 15 years of career and 9 other
albums, KILLERS show that they are capable of raising
their standard even higher thanks to this “Mauvaises Graines”. This album will be the perfect link
          to the new millennium.
NEW !!! For the first time a GREAT English
version of a KILLERS’ album is out,
          under the title “Killing games”.
